About Robert
The King of the floor.
DJ, MC and line dance instructor. For more than thirty years, the man Cleveland calls when the dance floor has to fill.
His story
Thirty years, one dance floor at a time.
Robert Johnson Jr. is a Cleveland line dance instructor, DJ and MC. For more than thirty years he has turned weddings, festivals, nightlife venues, senior centers and family reunions into one big dance floor.
Crowds know him as the Line Dance King. He brings the music and the sound, takes the mic, and teaches the whole room the steps, so nobody has to watch from the sidelines.
Every week you'll find him leading classes at Uptown, Sam Sylk's and Murtis Taylor. The rest of the time he's hosting luncheons, galas and private celebrations across Northeast Ohio.
